License Trainings
The
helicopter pilot training is an assignment we follow with heart and persuasion.
During the training you will pass a lot of time with your assigned flight
instructor (mentor). The right atmosphere between flight training organization/flight
instructor and student is the basis for the choice of the training institution.
Our flight instructors are highly qualified and have a broad wealth of
experience, not only in the field of commercial flight operations, but also in
the fields of air rescue and police service.

Training
Opportunities
There are three
different possibilities to pass the commercial helicopter pilot training:
1)
Integrated training without previous
knowledge
A full time
training, which assumes that you have no previous knowledge. The theoretical
training comprises 350 lessons*, the practical training consists of 135 flight
hours.
After at least
45 flight hours, the intermediate examination to acquire the PPL(H) can be conducted..
2)
Modular training without previous
knowledge
A training, which consists of different completed
modules. Here, too, you need no previous knowledge:
1. Modul
The first module is the way to the private pilot
license PPL(H).
2. Modul
Collect the necessary flight experience up to a total
flight experience of 155 hours, so that you fullfil the requirements to start
the commercial pilot license training CPL(H). At least 50 hours have to be
performed as pilot in command (PIC) and at least 10 hours during cross-country
flights.
3. Modul
In the last module, you receive the training for the
acquisition of the CPL(H). This training comprises distance learning with 72
hours ground course and 35 hours flight training (incl. night qualification).
3) Modular training for PPL(H) holder
With a valid private helicopter pilot license PPL(H),
a total flight experience of 155 hours, of that at least 50 hours as pilot in
command (PIC) and 10 hours during cross-country flights and night qualification,
you can acquire the commercial helicopter pilot license CPL(H) with a distance
learning course, 72 hours ground course and 30 hours practical training.
Whichever
option you choose depends on your possibilities. We gladly advise you and
together we can work out an optimal training concept.
Duration
The integrated
training has to be finished within 24 months. An extension is not possible.
The duration
of the modular training is more flexible and suitable for applicants, who
cannot take part in a full time training. Only the third module has a time
limit of max. 18 months for the theoretical part, and 36 months for the
practical part.
For
the practical training, the following helicopter types are available:
·
Schweizer 300
·
Robinson R44
·
Eurocopter EC120
·
Eurocopter EC135
