Fly yourself / Trial Flight
Did you ever
want to fly a helicopter? Then one of our trial flights is just the right thing
for you.
Our trial
flights consist of a theoretical and a practical, i.e. flying part:
Theory:
During the theoretical training, the necessary basic
skills about helicopters are taught. This theoretical instruction is mainly accomplished
at the helicopter and in conjunction with the pre-flight check you get the
first contact with the impressive technology of the helicopter.
Practice:
Let’s get started: To get a first impression of the
control input, you „feel“ the first control movements during take-off and start
of the helicopter with the flight instructor. You get a feeling of how
sensitive the helicopter reacts and can prepare yourself for the big moment:
After the start, the instructor leaves more and more the control of the
helicopter to you. Now you fly the helicopter at an altitude of 1.000 to 2.000
feet (approximately 300 to 600 meters) and you complete the first exercises,
like turnings. For trial flights with a flight time of 30 minutes and more,
after the cross-country-flight follow hover exercises: On a practice area at
the airport, you get an introduction tot he pinnacle of helicopter flying:
Hovering - one of the most challenging parts of helicopter flying. Under the
safe supervision of the instructor, who is always ready to intervene, you will
complete the first hover exercises.
Safety:
Our flight instructors have far more than one thousand
hours flight experience and worked in the fields of private- and commercial
pilot training. To guarantee safety, they are always prepared to interfere.
For whom are trial flights suitable?
Everyone who can carefully handle controls and follow
instructions of a flight instructor is qualified for a trial flight. For
reasons of safety, we reserve the right to continue the flight as a sightseeing
flight, if the trial-student cannot follow the instructions of the flight
instructor or if he is over challenged with the controls.
Pricing information
You can find
our pricing information in our web shop, where you can directly book your trial
flight.

minutes.
The theoretical introduction additionally takes ca.
20 minutes.
