Helicopter Seminar
Our helicopter
seminars go far beyond the trial flights and you will pass more time with the
helicopter.
This is just
the thing for helicopter enthusiasts or someone who wants to become one. You
are not only the passenger, you are handling the controls.
Your eventful
day starts with a theoretical instruction to the handling of a helicopter.
During the approximately 1 - 2 hours ground course, you are getting to know
basic knowledge of the helicopter technology. During the following pre-flight
check of the helicopter you are getting the first contact to the impressive
technique of a helicopter. After the
flight instructor explained the first handholds, the first flight starts.
Let’s get
started: To get a first impression of the intake of the controls, you are
„feeling“ the first movements, during take-off and start of the helicopter,
with the flight instructor. So you get a feeling of how sensitive the
helicopter reacts and you can get ready for your great moment: After start, the
flight instructor gradually transfers the control of the helicopter to you. Now you are flying the helicopter in an
altitude of 1.000 to 2.000 feet and doing the first exercises e.g. turnings and
full circles.
After
approximately one hour flight time you are ready for refreshment: We land on an
airfield or heliport and invite you to a snack.
After
returning to the starting point, you will get more information about helicopter
flying. Finally you can give proof of your new skills during another cross
country flight and hover exercises on the training field.
The order of
the exercises can vary due to the conditions.
The duration
of the helicopter seminar is approximately 6 hours, incl. ca. 120 minutes
flight time on the choosen helicopter.
Alternatively
we can offer the seminar as a combination of helicopter and simulator flying. Due
to the reduced flight time on the helicopter, the landing on the external
landing field has to be cancelled. You will find further information in our Web
shop:
The date for the
heli seminar is arranged individually.
